Host our events: interactive evenings with guest speakers for solo founders in your city.
Founders find you through your mentor profile on our site and book a free trial call with you. Hosts get each event with the speakers, the format and the tickets already set, so the evening is yours to run.
Your mentor dashboard records every completed session and works out your pay. We pay you once a month, within 5 business days after the last business day of the month.
After 3 months of mentoring with strong feedback from founders, you can train to coach Plan A, our 8-week launch program. Hosts who stay active get free entry to all our events.
Mentors work from the Plan A curriculum and our mentor guide. Hosts run an event format we plan, with our team in the room on your first night. You never have to invent the program on your own.
Every role is freelance and paid per session or per event. Here is what that looks like in practice.
Freelance, on your own schedule. You choose how many sessions or events you take on, around your own clients.
1:1 by design. Plan A and Uncommon Mentorship are 1:1, so you get to know each founder you work with.
Remote or in person. Mentors work on Zoom from wherever they are. Hosts run events in person, in their own city.
One method, written down. Mentors work from the Plan A curriculum and our mentor guide, so every founder hears one consistent approach.
Pay you can see before you apply. $60 a mentoring session, $90 an hour for Plan A coaching, and $150 an event plus a ticket commission.
A network of your own. You meet founders, mentors and hosts through our work, in your city and online.

We cannot promise a set number of hours, because sessions depend on how many founders choose you and events depend on demand in your city. Expect to spend 2 to 4 hours a week to start.
Yes. When you and the founder both speak another language, you can hold your sessions in it.
