Refund Policy

This Uncommon Life LLC sells three kinds of things, and each one refunds differently. Find the one you bought below. If you are not sure which applies to you, email hello@thisuncommonlife.com and we will sort it out with you.
Every refund starts with written notice. Email us from the address you used at purchase and tell us what you bought and that you want to withdraw. The date we receive that email is the date we use to work out what you are owed.
Plan A, the eight-week program
Plan A runs as a scheduled program with live sessions and one-to-one time, so the refund scale follows the calendar rather than how much of it you have opened.
If you paid in full up front
- Week 1: 100% refund if you have not attended a live session. 95% refund if you have attended one.
- Week 2: 50% of tuition returned.
- Week 3: 25% of tuition returned.
- After week 3: no refund.
If you are paying in installments
The same scale applies, calculated against the total you have paid at the point you give notice rather than the full program price. Withdrawing does not cancel installments that were already due before your notice date.
Uncommon Toolkits
The toolkits are digital products delivered in full the moment you buy them. You have 14 days from purchase to ask for a refund, for any reason, and we will return the full amount. After 14 days we do not refund toolkits, because by then you have the entire thing.
If you bought the complete set and want to keep part of it, we cannot refund individual toolkits out of a bundle. It is the whole set or nothing.
Uncommon Company membership
Membership is billed annually. You have 30 days from the start of a membership year to cancel and receive a full refund. After 30 days the year is non-refundable, but you can cancel renewal at any time and keep your access until the year runs out.
If we cancel or substantially change the membership during a year you have paid for, you get a pro-rated refund for the part you did not receive.
Free tools and The Shortlist
Nothing to refund. The roadmap, the worksheet and the live workshop cost nothing and never require a card.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Most clear within 5 to 10 business days once approved, though your bank sets the actual timing. We do not issue refunds as credit unless you ask for credit instead.
Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, email us first. We would much rather fix it directly than have it go through your card issuer, and we will always answer. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your access being suspended while the dispute is open.
